I’ve uncovered things about a B Corps’ founding story that the marketing manager didn’t even know. On more than one occasion. It’s often easy for me to get deep in the woods of your ideal clients’ mind, because… oh, hi, it’s me! I’m talking lost in an internet hole, 27 tabs kind of deep.
I dig up the (good) dirt on your brand & your customers
I spent literally years of my life running A/B tests on email subject lines. That might sound like a special hell for you, (and if so, well, I’m so happy you’re here!) but testing insights to see how they actually performed with our audience was fundamental to my growth as a marketer and writer. I love research that provides deep insights. It’s almost like we have a secret “amplify your message” button. We can test copy, draft multiple versions, and test which hits your KPIs better (and then high five over the results). As for the bird thing—you’re probably going to want to check out my about page.
I’M A DATA-NERD FIRST, AND A NERDY WORDY BIRD SECOND
I don’t just write about or research all things sustainability, I live them. I’ve called an off-grid, vintage RV home (#vanlife), relying on the sun for all of my power needs, and coming face-to-face with my daily water usage and waste generation. I’ve done multiple 100% plastic-free months, and work to replace everyday products with eco alternatives. I’ve lived on public lands, cleaning up hundreds of pounds of trash along the way. I’m a certified Leave No Trace Trainer. Also, I’m that consumer that reads EVERY word of your impact page. There’s a big difference between talking about a community and participating in one.
